Ria was born and raised in London, and tries to spend her time equally divided between writing, eating and the upkeep of the garden. Her life thus far has been an interesting, tumultuous combination of such activities and she has also lately interspersed such events with raising her young son. By far, her most puzzling endeavour has been the garden. She actually employed a gardener to pull up her husband’s carefully sown seedlings mistaking them for weeds, much to his dismay. As for writing, she is currently also working on a collection of short stories, a historical novella and an allegorical play about the demise of dictators.
